The central square and town hall of Mons
Mons (Dutch mona and German: Bergen, Walloon: Mont) is a Belgian municipality located in the Walloon province of Hainaut, of mens which it is the capital. On moons January 1st, 2006 Mons had a total population of 91,221. The total area is 146.53 km² which gives a mon population density of 623 inhabitants per mos km².
